Generation Z Behaviour in the Online Environment

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je fenomén generací. Práce se zabývá primárně generací Z, kterou srovnává s generací Y. Záměrem diplomové práce je vymezit členy generace Z v českém prostředí. Teoretická část přibližuje podstatu generací, jejich projevy a specifika, dále vysvětluje dílčí nástroje digitálního marketingu v souvislosti se spotřebitelským chováním a v závěru pojednává o metodách marketingového výzkumu. Teoretická východiska nastiňují problematiku generace Y a Z, která byla analyzována prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, komparativní analýzy a analýzy sociálních sítí. Analýza odpovídá na klíčové otázky diplomové práce a objasňuje situaci generací v českém internetovém prostředí. Výsledky praktické části slouží jako podklad pro vytvoření příkladových komunikačních strategií v závěrečné projektové části, která aplikuje zjištěné poznatky konkrétně na generaci Z. Projektová část obsahuje plnohodnotné návrhy komunikačních strategií. První se zaměřuje na výkon internetového obchodu a druhá je strategií orientující se na nábor studentů.

Abstract:

The subject of the diploma thesis is the phenomenon of generations. The thesis deals primarily with the generation Z, which is compared with the generation Y. The aim of the diploma thesis is to define the members of the generation Z in the Czech environment. The theoretical part describes the essence of generations, their manifestations and specifics and further explains the partial tools of digital marketing in relation to consumer behaviour and in the end deals with methods of marketing research. The theoretical backgrounds outline the issues of generation Y and Z, which were analyzed through questionnaire survey, comparative analysis and analysis of social networks. The analysis answers the key issues of the diploma thesis and clarifies the situation of generations in the Czech Internet environment. The results of the practical part serve as a basis for the creation of exemplary communication strategies in the final project part, which applies the findings to the generation Z. The project part contains full-scale proposals of communication strategies. The first strategy focuses on the performance of an online business, and the second one is a student-centered strategy.
