Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of learning based on project work. In the background chapter, the main emphasis is put on Project Based Learning and its characterization. The greatest importance is put on its individual aspects, such as group work, cooperative learning, and student-centred approach that places Project Based Learning among modern ways of teaching. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the individual steps of the project and describes some apparent advantages as well as disadvantages of this specific approach. The same part of the thesis also deals with the requirements of Framework Educational Programme that incorporates projects into the educational process. The research conducted at basic schools is described in the second part of the thesis. It was realized predominantly by the means of questionnaires. The research is based on both pupils´ and teachers´ opinions and attitudes towards the application of the Project Based Learning in the classroom. The results of the research proved that the surveyed pupils and teachers understand the specific aspects of this modern teaching approach that accentuates a different role of the teacher in the class and provides pupils with extended autonomy.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem výuky založené na projektové práci. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na projektové vyučování a jeho charakteristiku. Největší důraz je kladen na jednotlivé aspekty, jako jsou: práce ve skupinách, kooperativní výuka, výuka zaměřená na žáka. Práce v projektech je zařazena mezi moderní způsoby výuky. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá jednotlivými kroky při vytváření projektu a zmiňuje jak výhody, tak i možné nevýhody tohoto specifického způsobu výuky. Teoretická část rovněž zmiňuje a integruje zásadní požadavky definované Rámcovým vzdělávacím programem. Výsledky výzkumu a jeho popis jsou obsaženy ve druhé části diplomové práce. Výzkum byl realizován zejména prostřednictvím dotazníků a obsahuje názory, jak žáků, tak učitelů na aplikaci projektové výuky v prostředí školní třídy. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že dotazovaní žáci i učitelé rozumí specifickým rysům tohoto způsobu výuky, který poskytuje žákům větší autonomii v jejich procesu učení a zároveň podtrhuje roli učitele jako poradce.
