Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zaobírá tématem válečné evakuaci britských dětí během druhé světové války. První část práce poskytuje faktické informace o různých fázích evakuace. Druhá část práce je analýzou tří beletristických knih, které o tématu evakuace pojednávají. Těmi knihami jsou The Evacuee Kena Chadwicka, Carrie´s War Niny Bawden a Friend or Foe Michaela Morpurga.Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of wartime evacuation of British schoolchildren during the Second World War. The first part of the thesis provides factual information about the phases of evacuation. The second part of the thesis analysis three books of fiction which deal with the topic of the evacuation. Those three analysed books are Ken Chadwick´s The Evacuee, Nina Bawden´s Carrie´s War …more
