Práce prezentuje dílčí aspekty kontrastivního výzkumu německých deminutiv se sufixem -chen a jejich českých protějšků. Jazykový materiál z paralelního korpusu InterCorp poskytuje možnost porovnání jazykových prostředků odpovídajících v češtině německým deminutivům z hlediska jejich struktury, ale i z hlediska možných postupů při převodu do jiného jazyka.
