The Transition to Democracy in South Korea
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá jihokorejským přechodem k demokracii v roce 1987. Cílem práce je vysvětlení příčin a procesů přechodu pomocí konceptu přechodů k demokracii a zařazení tranzice v rámci typologií Samuela P. Huntingtona a Phillippa C. Schmittera a Terry Lynn Karlové. V souvislosti s tímto úkolem autor pojednává rovněž o roli mas v jihokorejském přechodu.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis’ focus is the transition to democracy in South Korea in 1987. The aim of this work is to explain causes and processes of the transition using of the theory of transitions to democracy, as well as the classification of transition in typologies by Samuel P.
