This bachelor thesis aims to compare the effectiveness of natural and synthetic antimicrobials. The aim of the theoretical part is to briefly illustrate the etiology and the pathogenesis of tooth decay and to give an overview of the effect of antimicrobial agents. Táto bakalárska práca sa zameriava na zrovnanie účinnosti prírodných a syntetických antimikrobiálnych látok. Cieľom teoretickej časti je stručne naznačiť etiológiu a patogenézu zubného kazu a podať prehľad o účinku antimiktobiálnych látok.
