The Use of Web-Based Applications for Teaching Czech

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá využíváním online aplikací ve výuce českého jazyka na druhém stupni základních škol. Je rozdělena na dvě části. V první části, teoretické, se zabývá informačními a komunikačními technologiemi ve vzdělávání, formami vzdělávání a distančním vzděláváním na českých školách od nástupu pandemie. Na tuto úvodní část navazuje práce popisem vyučovacích metod, v nichž je zahrnuta i stručná historie, dnešní preference metod nebo definice tradičního vyučování a aktivizačních metod. Druhá část, praktická, představuje 12 aktivit pro 6. – 9. ročník základních škol, jež kombinují aktivizační metody spolu s využitím online aplikací a webových stránek.

Abstract:

This work deals with the use of online applications in the teaching of the Czech language at the middle school level. It is divided into two sections, first a theoretical portion focusing on existing literature, and methods; and second a practical section suggesting possible activities. The theoretical portion deals with information and communication technologies in education, forms of education, and distance education in Czech schools since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. This examination of the literature is followed by a description of teaching methods, including a brief history and currently preferred methods, and a review of traditional teaching and activation methods. The practical section presents 12 activities for the 6th-9th grade level, which combine classical activation methods together with the use of online applications and websites.
