The Prison Treatment Program as the Prevention of Negative Effect Source Served a Prison Term

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývala souvislostí programu zacházení a výskytem negativních jevů ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody odsouzených mužů. Teoretická část popisuje organizační strukturu Vězeňské služby a související právní úpravu, vymezuje pojem negativní jevy vězení a předkládá přehled programů zacházení. Empirická část práce je věnována intenzitě plnění a preventivnímu významu programů zacházení před vznikem negativních jevů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis discusses the connection between the treatment programme and the occurence of the negative effects of imprisonment of male convicts. The theoretical part focuses on the organizational structure of the Prison Service and related legislation, defines the term "negative effects of imprisonment" and proposes a review of treatment programmes. The empirical part of this thesis focuses on the treatment programmes' performance, and theoretical importance in terms of prevention of the occurence of these negative effects.
