Personnel management in the selected company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na personální řízení ve vybraném podniku, kde pracuji už třetím rokem. Tato firma poskytuje finanční služby turistům i Čechům cestujícím do zahraničí. Svými službami podporuje cestovní ruch. Popíši a srovnám vybrané činnosti personálního řízení v uvedené firmě s teoriemi publikovanými v odborné literatuře. Na základě zjištěných informací se poté pokusím navrhnout opatření, která by mohla stávající způsob a systém personálního řízení zlepšit a zefektivnit. K dosažení tohoto cíle mi budou sloužit studium firemních dokumentů, pozorování a zhodnocení zkušenosti nabytých prací v této firmě. Z výsledků mého zkoumání vyplývá nutnost zvýšit úroveň znalostí cizích jazyků stávajících zaměstnanců a jejich počítačových dovedností, dále nezbytnost testování jazykových znalostí a ovládání počítače u nově přijímaných zaměstnanců, ale i potřeba pravidelného hodnocení zaměstnanců. Také navrhuji různé možnosti motivace zaměstnanců a předkládám i další návrhy pro možnosti zlepšení personální práce. Tato bakalářská práce pomůže poznat a pochopit principy personálního řízení obecně a zároveň seznámí s aktivitami a průběhem personálního řízení v malém podniku.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s dissertation centers on human resources management in selected company, where I have been working for last three years. This company provides financial services for tourists and for travelling Czechs. Its services support tourism. I will describe and compare activities of personnel management, used in the company, with the theories published in significant books of this topic. Based on the information I will try to propose solutions to improve and streamline current system of personnel management in the company thereafter. To achieve this goal, I will use the study of company documents, observation and evaluation of my own gained work experience in this company. The results of my research are the need of training of current employees in the areas of language and computer skills, testing of newly hired employees in terms of the ability to control the computer and language skills, as well as regular staff evaluation. I also suggest other possibilities of motivation of employees, and other equally useful suggestions. This work helps to identify and understand the principles of personnel management in general and also to learn about the activities and processes of personnel management in a small business.
