Manuscripts 'in Italian language' in the archive of Collalto family at the Moravian Regional Archive in Brno (MZA)

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis deals with manuscripts written in Italian language and with the archive in the Moravian Regional Archive. The observed manuscripts are part of the fond G 169 which is the fond of the Collalto family. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part concerns the Moravian Regional Archive as the institution where the examined documents are conserved, the history of both the documents and the archive, its activities, the division of fonds and generally collections of manuscripts present in the archive. Moreover, the theoretical part presents also the origin and history of the Collalto family, its influence and behavior in our territory, and, not least, the appearance and division of the familial fond. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to the transcription of chosen manuscripts dating back to the 18th and 19th century and to the observation of specific linguistic elements which are characteristic of the Northern Italy where most of the transcribed documents come from.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá italsky psanými rukopisy, které jsou uchovány v Moravském zemském archivu (MZA) a jsou součástí fondu označeného jako G 169- Rodinných archiv Collaltů. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je představen Moravský zemský archiv jako instituce, v níž se nacházejí předměty zkoumání, jeho historie, aktivity, rozdělení fondů a obecně sbírky rukopisů, které se v archivu nacházejí. V teoretické části je dále shrnut původ a historie rodiny Collaltů, jejich vliv a počínání na našem území, a je také představen fond G 169, jeho historie, rozdělení a současný vzhled. Část praktická je zaměřena na přepis vybraných rukopisů pocházejících z 18. a 19. století a na pozorování jazykových prvků typických pro oblast severní Itálie, odkud pochází většina vybraných dokumentů.
