THE ATTITUDE of PARENTS of MENTALLY DISABLED PEOPLE to SHELTERED HOUSING

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou chráněného bydlení pro lidi s mentálním postižením, konkrétně postojů rodičů těchto lidí k této sociální službě. Je dělena do dvou základních částí, a to na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. Teoretická část je členěna na čtyři kapitoly, které popisují koncept bydlení a lidských potřeb, práva a kvalitu života osob se zdravotním postižením, diagnózu mentálního postižení, chráněné bydlení a psychologické rámce rodiny a postojů. Cílem výzkumné části je za využití kvalitativního výzkumu zanalyzovat postoj rodičů lidí s mentálním postižením k této službě, jejich informovanost a zkušenosti.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of sheltered housing for people with mental disabilities, namely attitudes of parents from these people to this social service. It is divided into two basic parts, namely the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters describing the concept of housing and human needs, the rights and quality of life of people with disabilities, the diagnosis of mental disabilities, sheltered housing and the psychological frameworks for the families and attitudes. The main objective of the research part is to use the qualitative research to analyze the attitudes of parents from mentally disabled people to this service, their awareness and experience.
