Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu strategická analýza vybraného podniku. Toto téma jsem si vybrala, jelikož využívá poznatky z většiny ekonomických disciplín a existuje více přístupů k jejímu řešení. Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit strategickou analýzu těžařské firmy Severočeské doly, a.s. a na jejím základě navrhnout alternativy budoucího vývoje, řešící končící potřebu fosilních paliv s pomocí využití obnovitelných zdrojů a jaderné energie. První část práce je čistě teoretická a slouží jako podklad k praktickému vytváření strategické analýzy dané firmy. Díky teoretickým znalostem a výsledkům plynoucím ze strategické analýzy bylo možné navrhnout tři alternativy budoucího vývoje Severočeských dolů a.s. První variantou je prodloužení životnosti obou dolů této společnosti prolomením územně ekologických limitů s využitím strategie postupného omezení. Druhá varianta navrhuje investice do větrných elektráren, čímž by byla aplikována strategie diferenciace. Poslední alternativa doporučuje strategii radikálního omezení a spočívá v prodeji Severočeských dolů a.s. a využití výnosu z tohoto prodeje Skupinou ČEZ k rozšíření stávajících jaderných elektráren v ČR.

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of strategic analysis of the selected company. I chose this topic because it uses knowledge from many economic disciplines and there are multiple approaches to addressing it. The aim of this thesis is to create a strategic analysis of the mining company Severočeské doly, a.s. and, on its basis, propose future development alternatives addressing the ending need of fossil fuels with the use of renewable resources and nuclear energy. The first part of the thesis is purely theoretical and serves as a basis for the practical creation of strategic analysis of the company. Thanks to the theoretical knowledge and results from the strategic analysis, it was possible to propose three alternatives for the future development of Severočeské doly a.s. The first option is to extend the life of both mines of this company by breaking the territorial ecological limits using a strategy of gradual limitation. The second option proposes investment in wind power plants, thus applying a differentiation strategy. The last alternative recommends a strategy of radical restriction and consists of selling Severočeské doly a.s. and use of the proceeds from this sale by CEZ Group to expand existing nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic.
