The Russian Federation on the way to a better waste economy

Anotace:

Thesis focuses on the waste management of the Russian Federation. Dealing with waste is becoming a global problem, and Russia is not an exception. A new law initiated in Russia in 2019 suggests that the whole system of waste disposal should be reconsidered on all the levels, from producing the wastes by public or private entities and or-ganizations, which deal with collection, storing, recycling, neutralization and utilization of wastes to those who control all these processes. While many steps are already being taken, further reduction of difficulties can be achieved by learning from the experience of other countries in this area.
