Speech therapy of children before the start of compulsory school attendance

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce jsou logopedické obtíže dětí před zahájením povinné školní docházky. V teoretické části jsou objasněny pojmy řeč a komunikace. Je také vysvětlen pojem narušená komunikační schopnost a především dyslálie, která je u dětí předškolního věku nejčastější poruchou výslovnosti. V práci se také hovoří o logopedické intervenci a prevenci. Část je věnována školní zralosti a školní připravenosti v návaznosti na povinnou školní docházku. Cílem teoretické části je zjistit výskyt logopedických obtíží, respektive jaké poruchy výslovnosti se vyskytují u dětí před nástupem do 1. třídy. Dalšími výzkumnými cíli je zjistit a nabídnou možnosti logopedické intervence u těchto dětí, a jaká jsou doporučení pro pedagogickou intervenci. Praktická část práce je založena na kvantitativním výzkumu 61, respektive 51 dětí, které se zúčastnily zápisu k povinné školní docházky v řádném termínu.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is speech therapy difficulties in children before the start of compulsory schooling. In the theoretical part, the concepts of speech and communication are clarified. The concept of impaired communication ability and especially dyslalia, which is the most common speech disorder in preschool children, is also explained. The thesis also talks about speech therapy intervention and prevention. Part is dedicated to school maturity and school readiness following compulsory school attendance. The aim of the theoretical part is to find out the occurrence of speech therapy difficulties, or what pronunciation disorders occur in children before entering the first grade of primary school. Other research objectives are to find out and offer possibilities for speech therapy intervention in these children, and what are the recommendations for pedagogical intervention. The practical part of the thesis is based on qualitative research of 61 and 51 children, respectively, who participated in the registration for compulsory schooling in due course.
