Předložená diplomová práce je teoretická přehledová studie, která se zabývá vztahem jazyka a etnicity v procesu migrace. Hlavním objektem zájmu je zde jazyk a úkolem je jak v sociologii uchopit problém jazyka. V první části práce rozkrývá, jaký vliv má jazyk na etnickou identitu a jak se v jazykové komunikaci vytvářejí hranice sounáležitosti. Language and Ethnicity in the Migration Process is a theoretical survey thesis researching the relation between language and ethnicity in the migration process. The main topic here is the language which we handle as a sociological problem.
