The importance of children's drawing in the work of a kindergarten teacher

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na dětskou kresbu a její využití v práci učitelky mateřské školy. Teoretická část pojednává o dítěti předškolního věku a jeho vývoji v oblasti motorické, kognitivní, emocionální a sociální. Dále se teoretická část věnuje dětské kresbě, jejím vývoji a specifickým znakům, které v ni lze pozorovat. V teoretické části jsou přiblíženy možnosti využití kresby v pedagogicko-psychologické diagnostice, zásady pro práci s dětskou kresbou a přednosti a úskalí jejího využití. Je objasněna úloha mateřské školy v životě dítěte a s tím související práce učitelky mateřské školy. Empirická část bakalářské práce se zabývá využitím dětské kresby v práci učitelky mateřské školy z vývojového i projektivního aspektu. Z vývojového aspektu byl zvolen test kresby lidské postavy, ze kterého vyplynuly rozdíly mezi věkovými skupinami a pohlavími. Z projektivního aspektu byla zvolena modifikace kresby začarované rodiny, tedy kresba začarovaných kamarádů, kde byly zkoumány vztahy mezi dětmi ve třídě mateřské školy. Hlavní výzkumnou metodou je analýza kreseb vybraného vzorku dětí předškolního věku, která je doplněna pozorováním dětí při procesu kreslení, rozhovorem s projektivními prvky s dítětem a rozhovorem s učitelkou mateřské školy. V závěru je poukázáno na přínosy práce s dětskou kresbou v práci učitelky.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on children's drawing and its use in the work of a kindergarten teacher. The theoretical part deals with the preschool child and its development in the motor, cognitive, emotional and social areas. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with children's drawing, its development and specific features that can be observed in it. The theoretical part presents the possibilities of using drawing in pedagogical-psychological diagnostics, principles for working with children's drawing and advantages and pitfalls of its use. The role of the kindergarten in the child's life and the related work of the kindergarten teacher are explained. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the use of children's drawing from a developmental and projective aspect in the work of a kindergarten teacher. From the developmental aspect, a test of human figure drawing was chosen, which showed differences between age groups and genders. From the projective aspect, a modification of the drawing of the enchanted family, i.e. the drawing of the enchanted friends, was chosen, where the relationships between the children in the kindergarten class were examined. The main research method is the analysis of drawings of a selected sample of preschool children, which is complemented by observation of the children in the process of drawing, a projective interview with the child and an interview with the kindergarten teacher. It concludes by pointing out the benefits of working with children's drawing in the teacher's work.
