The Use of Tablets and Other Multimedia Systems in Tuition in Primary and Secondary Schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o využití tabletů a dalších multimediálních systémů ve výuce na základní a střední škole. V úvodní části je uveden popis, co jsou obecně multimédia a jejich využití ve výuce. Jaký mají na výuku vliv, jaké jsou jejich výhody a nevýhody. V praktické části se nachází výsledky a analýza dotazníkového šetření, které bylo prováděno v rámci diplomové práce. Součástí práce je také návrh konkrétního využití multimédií ve výuce zeměpisu a na závěr zhodnocení přínosů a rizik, jaké multimediální systémy ve výuce mají.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the use of tablets and other multimedia systems in primary and secondary school. The introductory part describes what are generally multimedia and their using in teaching. How they have impact on learning, what are their advantages and disadvantages. The practical part contains the results and analysis of the questionnaire survey, which was carried out in the framework of the diploma thesis. Part of the thesis is also a proposal of concrete use of multimedia in teaching geography, and finally, an evaluation of the benefits and risks of the multimedia systems in teaching.
