Using the methods of Drama Education at Child's school adaptation in first class at Primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Využití metod dramatické výchovy při adaptaci dítěte na školní prostředí v 1. ročníku základní školy“ si klade za cíl být především inspirací pro učitele prvních ročníků základních škol. Práce by měla sloužit jako praktická pomůcka pro učitele. V teoretické části se zabývám charakteristikou psychického vývoje u předškolních dětí a dětí v mladším školním věku. Dále pak pojmy dramatická výchova a školní drama. V praktické části předkládám podrobný metodický návrh pro práci s dětmi prvního ročníku během prvních školních dnů, který využívá metod a technik dramatické výchovy při vytváření nového kolektivu. Empirická část diplomové práce mapuje přípravu pedagoga a jeho realizaci v prvních školních dnech.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis, "Using drama to help children adapt in the first days of school," is to provide inspiration for first grade teachers in primary schools. The thesis would function as a practical teaching aid for teachers. In the theoretical section, we will examine the physical evolution of preschool and young age children. Next, we will study the concept of drama education and finally, school drama. In the practical section, we see a detailed look at a curriculum for working with first grade children from the first days of school. This practical approach discusses methods and techniques of using drama in education effectively. In the context of this thesis, first grade teachers were asked to help us by completing a questionnaire. In particular, we asked if they would like to employ these suggestions in their teaching preparation for the first days of school. The empirical part of my thesis focuses on teacher preparation and subsequent implementation during the first days at school.
