Professional orientation of children in children's homes

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je přiblížit problematiku profesní orientace u dospívajících dětí z dětských domovů. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na popis problematiky profesní orientace a systémem poradenství pro dospívající, kteří se rozhodují o svém budoucím povolání. Dále se věnuji vývojovým změnám, které probíhají v adolescenci po stránce psychické i fyzické. V práci je rozebráno rovněž téma náhradní rodinné výchovy, zmíněna je náhradní rodinná péče, podrobněji je rozebrána problematika ústavní výchovy, konkrétně dětských domovů. Ve výzkumné části práce jsou shrnuty výsledky výzkumu orientovaného na volbu povolání u adolescentních dětí z dětských domovů s ohledem na fázi adolescence, ve které se nacházejí. Výsledky jsou porovnávány se skupinou adolescentů, kteří vyrůstají v rodinném prostředí.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to describe the professional orientation of adolescent children from children's homes. The theoretical part is focused on a description of the issue of professional orientation and counselling system for teens that makes decisions about their future careers. Then I describe developmental changes that occur in adolescence in terms of both mental and physical. The thesis also discusses the topic of foster care, foster care is mentioned, the problems of institutional care, specifically children's homes, are analysed further,. The results of the research oriented on professional choces of adolescent children from children?s homes with regard to the stage of adolescence in which they are, are summarized in the research part of the thesis. The results are compared with the results of group of adolescents who grow up in a family environment.
