Protože jsou filmy a filmová zobrazení součástí kultury a pomáhají vytvářet a cirkulovat normy a hodnoty společnosti, je důležité si všímat jak jsou zobrazovány ženy. Práce se zabývala otázkou zobrazování ženských hrdinek a jejich vztahů ve dvou vybraných českých filmech.
