Diplomová práce se zabývá Paktem stability a růstu, který má za cíl stabilizaci fiskální politiky uvnitř eurozóny. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda je toto fiskální pravidlo dostatečně silné a dokáže ovlivnit vývoj salda státního rozpočtu a omezit výskyt takzvaných nadměrných státních deficitů. This diploma thesis examines The Stability and Growth Pact. Its primary objective is to ensure sound public finances and to coordinate fiscal policies of the countries in the eurozone. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the impact of this fiscal rule on the government budget balance and excessive deficits.
