Comparison of nutritional values in different diets

Abstract:

The Master's dissertation is focused on comparison of nutritional values in various reduction diets. Throughout the lifetime of humanity, society has resorted to health or aesthetic problems and therefore created different diets. The theoretical part of this work is focused on summarizing terms that are closely related to reduction diets. I try to explain concepts such as diet, nutrition, energy intake, possible dietary complications or so called yo-yo effect. The comparison of nutritional values in different diets and finding their common ground is then the subject of a major research investigation describing the experiences and results of respondents with respect to certain types of diets. The main task of the analytical part of the Master's dissertation was to compare the nutritional elements of individual diets through the results collected by the internet program BodyHunters and to find and compare their basic features and characteristics.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca je zameraná na komparáciu výživových hodnôt v rôznych redukčných diétach. Za celé obdobie existencie ľudstva sa spoločnosť uchyľuje zo zdravotných alebo estetických problémov k používaniu a vytváraniu rôznych diét. Teoretická časť tejto práce je zameraná na sumarizáciu pojmov, ktoré úzko súvisia s redukčnými diétami. Vysvetlíme pojmy ako diéta, výživa, energetický príjem, mechanizmy príjmu a výdaju energie, komplikácie spojené s diétami a jo- jo efekt. Komparácia výživových hodnôt v rôznych diétach a nájdenie ich spoločného základu je potom predmetom hlavného výskumného šetrenia, v ktorom sú popísané skúsenosti a výsledky respondentov s dodržiavaním niektorých typov diét. Hlavnou úlohou analytickej časti práce bolo prostredníctvom výsledkov zozbieraných internetovým portálom BodyHunters porovnať výživové prvky jednotlivých diét a následne nájsť a porovnať ich základné črty a vlastnosti.
