Practical opportunities for social pedagogy graduates

Abstract:

Cílem mé diplomové práce je zjistit, jaké uplatnění mají absolventi oboru sociální pedagogiky Ostravské univerzity v praxi a zda jsou spokojeni při výkonu své profese. Zda jim studium tohoto oboru usnadnilo uplatnění v praxi a co jim při studiu chybělo. V teoretické části se věnuji vymezení pojetí a předmětu sociální pedagogiky. Dále uvádím, kdo je sociální pedagog, jaké jsou jeho osobnostní a profesní kompetence. Zaměřuji se také na možnost uplatnění sociálního pedagoga. Věnuji se také oboru sociální pedagogika a profilu absolventa Ostravské univerzity. Popisuji, jaká je uplatnitelnost pedagogických pracovníků na trhu práce a její faktory. Rovněž uvádím profilové předměty oboru sociální pedagogiky na Ostravské univerzitě a jací jsou současní vysokoškolští studenti a jejich přístup ke vzdělávání. Definuji pracovní spokojenost, její faktory a jak se měří. V praktické části se věnuji výzkumnému šetření a zjišťuji, jaké uplatnění mají absolventi sociální pedagogiky v praxi.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to determine how well acquitted are social pedagogy graduates at the University of Ostrava and whether they are satisfied with their profession. To asses whether studying the field facilitated the practical application and what they lacked in the study. The theoretical part deals with the definition and scope of social pedagogy, who the social educator is and what are his or her personal and professional competence. I also deal with the field of social pedagogy, the social pedagogy graduates profile and their work opportunities on the labor market and its factors. I also mention the subjects of social pedagogy at the University of Ostrava, what current college students are like and their attitude to education. I define job satisfaction, its factors and how they are measured. The practical part describes research survey and shows how successful graduates of social pedagogy are in their employment.
