Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá rozsah integrace politiky diversity managementu v prostředí vybraných společností v České republice a uplatňování jejích metod v průběhu přijímání nových zaměstnanců. Práce má za cíl zmapovat, jakou roli v této oblasti hraje v jednotlivých společnostech personální útvar a také zda se dané organizace zabývají sledováním výsledků, které tento moderní přístup přináší. Prostřednictvím osobních rozhovorů s personalisty společností byly zjištěny jejich postoje a přístupy k řízení diverzity, nástroje, které za tímto účelem používají a také konkrétní výhody, které diversity management firmám přináší. Na základě analýzy těchto rozhovorů byl zhodnocen rozsah, v jakém se dané společnosti diversity managementem zabývají a bylo formulováno doporučení pro jeho efektivnější využívání v budoucnosti. V závěru bylo zjištěno, že žádná z analyzovaných společností se diversity managementem nezabývá v plném rozsahu a nevyužívá tak jeho veškerých přínosů. Tato práce tedy díky formulovaným doporučením významným způsobem přispívá k rozvoji tohoto nového teoretického směru v praxi.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's Thesis analyses the extent of integration of Diversity Management in selected companies from the Czech Republic as well as application of its methods during a recruitment process. The thesis aims to map out the role of particular HR departments in this field of management and also to find out whether those companies analyse or evaluate the results and benefits of this modern approach. The attitudes to managing diversity of selected companies and the tools they uses for that were identified through personal interviews with recruiters. The recruiters also mentioned some Diversity Management benefits for the company. Based on detailed analysis of the interviews the thesis assesses an extent of Diversity Management in particular companies and suggests some recommendations for its better efficiency. The thesis has come to the conclusion that none of the selected companies are concerned Diversity Management in its entirety. This means that those companies do not take advantage of all the benefits this modern technique brings. Therefore, the Bachelor's Thesis, thanks to the recommendations, contributes significantly to development of this incoming theoretical movement and its better understanding.
