Social Work in the Context of Meeting the Needs of an Ageing Population in the Home of St. Hedvika

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je naplňování potřeb stárnoucí populace konkrétně pak potřeby seniorů v domově pro seniory. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak sociální práce souvisí se seniory a jaké potřeb mají tito klienti konkrétní pobytové služby. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na sociální práci obecně, dále pak na sociální práci se seniory. Další velmi důležitá je oblast stáří, stárnutí a také část zaměřená na potřeby seniorů, jako poslední kapitola teoretické části práce. Aplikační část je věnována návrhu kvantitativního výzkumu, který je zaměřený na potřeby klientů dané pobytové sociální služby a dále měl za cíl zjistit, jak se tyto potřeby od sebe vzájemně odlišují mezi muži a ženami.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the fulfillment of the needs of the aging population, specifically the needs of the elderly in a home for the elderly. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out how social work is related to the elderly and what needs these clients have for specific residential services. The theoretical part focuses on social work in general, then on social work with the elderly. Another very important area is the area of old age, aging and also the part focused on the needs of seniors, as the last chapter of the theoretical part of the work. The application part is dedicated to the proposal of quantitative research, which is focused on the needs of the clients of the residential social service and also aimed to find out how these needs differ from each other between men and women.
