Measurement and evaluation of externalities of particular transport modes

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce je porovnání doporučených postupů pro hodnocení externalit hluku a nehodovosti v České republice s praktickými pokyny Evropské komise. V práci je nejprve provedena komparativní analýza teorie, praktických pokynů Evropské komise a Rezortní metodiky Ministerstva dopravy ČR. Následně jsou provedeny případové studie s využitím postupů představených v první části práce. V závěrečné části práce jsou na základě předchozích zjištění zhodnoceny pozitivní a negativní aspekty doporučených postupů pro měře-ní a hodnocení externalit z dopravy v České republice.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is a comparison of recommended procedures for the evaluation of external costs from noise and accidents in the Czech Republic with practical guidelines of the European Commission. First, a comparative analysis of the theory, Guide of the European Commission and the Resort methodology of the Czech Ministry of Transport is per-formed. Subsequently, case studies are performed using the procedures presented in the first part of the thesis. In the final part of the thesis, the positive and negative aspects of the recommended procedures for measuring and evaluating externalities from transport in the Czech Republic are evaluated based on previous findings.
