Abstract:

Moje diplomová práce se zabývá strategiemi učení cizímu jazyku a jejich zavedení do výuky ve vojenských kurzech. Práce se zaměřuje na otázku zdali výcvik a používání vhodných strategií v rámci kurzu má pozitivní vliv na vyučovací proces, a zda mohou studentům pomoci učit se snadněji a efektivněji. Teoretická část upozorňuje na důležité oblasti, které ovlivňují kvalitu výuky. Nejprve se zabývá tématem komunikativního učení a definuje komunikativní kompetence. Dále uvádí různé definice, klasifikace a popis jednotlivých strategií. V neposlední řadě je věnována pozornost dospělým studentům a roli výukových materiálů. Na základě výsledků dotazníku se praktická část zaměřuje na výcvik strategií učení cizímu jazyku formou jednotlivých úkolů a aktivit. Efektivita výcviku je diskutována formou rozhovorů se studenty.

Abstract:

My diploma thesis deals with language learning strategies and their implementation into military courses. It focuses at the question whether training and using suitable strategies within the course material have positive influence on learning process, and whether it can help the students learn more easily and effectively. The theoretical part emphasises the important areas that influence the quality of learning. It firstly looks at the topic of communicative learning and defines communicative competence. Also, it gives various definitions, classifications and descriptions of particular strategies. Last but not least, the attention is paid to adult learners and the role of instructional material. Based on the questionnaire results the practical part centres around training particular language learning strategies through individual tasks and activities. The strategy training effectiveness is discussed through interviews with the students.
