Initial adaptation of a child in kindergarten

Abstract:

Diplomová práce "Počáteční adaptace dítěte v mateřské škole" se zabývá problematikou adaptace dítěte předškolního věku a zjišťuje podmínky jeho zdárné adaptace ve vybraných mateřských školách. Text práce obsahuje teoretická východiska popisující klíčovou problematiku tématu, dále pak analýzu školních dokumentů, dotazníkové šetření mezi rodiči nově nastoupených dětí a rozhovor s ředitelkami mateřských škol, které zastupují instituci. Teoretická část představuje vývoj dítěte předškolního věku, vymezuje pojem rodiny a její úlohy v životě dítěte, dále pojednává o mateřské škole a její funkci. V posledních dvou teoretických kapitolách se zabývá adaptací dítěte a dokumenty, které tuto problematiku v předškolním vzdělávání zahrnují. Obsahem metodické části práce je popis vybraných výzkumných metod užitých pro sběr dat, stanovení hypotéz a představení výzkumného vzorku. Praktická část diplomové práce prezentuje výsledky výzkumu získané analýzou dokumentů, dotazníkovým šetřením a polostrukturovanými rozhovory. Konec diplomové práce je věnován shrnutí, vyvození závěrů nad zjištěnými výsledky a také diskusi, která obsahuje doporučení vycházející z analýzy pedagogické dokumentace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Initial adaptation of a child in kindergarten school" deals with the issue "adaptation of a child of pre-school age" and explores the conditions of its successful adaptation in selected kindergartens. The thesis contains theoretical background describing the key issue of this topic. Next part deals with school documents analysis, questionnaire survey among parents of newly arrived children and an interview with the headmistresses of kinder-gartens schools representing the institution. The theoretical part presents the development a child of pre-school age, defines the fa-mily concept and its role in the child's life and deals with kindergarten and its function. The last two theoretical chapters deal with the adaptation of the child and documents that include this issue in pre-school education. The content of the methodological part is a description of selected research methods used for data collection, hypothesis determination and presentation the research sample. The practical part of the diploma thesis presents the research results obtained by docu-ment analysis, questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews. The end of the diploma thesis is devoted to a summary, drawing conclusions about the results and also a discussion that contains recommendations based on the analysis of pedagogi-cal documentation.
