The diploma thesis deals with career maturity of the secondary school students in the relation with chosen variables (self-efficacy, self-esteem, school performance and the school type). The career maturity as the key construct of this thesis is based on the Holland's theory of career choice. In the research sample were 198 Czech students from two different secondary schools.
