Zvídavost a touha po poznání se člověkem váže, už od počátku věků. Lidská zvědavost pomohla na svět jednomu z nejničivějších lidských vynálezů. Jaderná bomba se stala symbolem moci, ale cesta k jejímu vzniku byla dlouhá. Vyžadovala spojení vědců celého světa poháněnými strachem i ctižádostí.
