Workers motivation and stimulation by the selected enterprise

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na specifikaci motivačních a stimulačních nástrojů podniku. Cílem je určit jejich přínos pro zlepšení finančního zdraví firmy. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část se zabývá definicí obecných základních pojmů, poznatků a vybraných teorií vztahujících se k motivaci a stimulaci. V praktické části je představen a stručně charakterizován podnik Special Service International, s. r. o., ve kterém bylo provedeno dotazníkové šetření. Cílem šetření bylo u pracovníků různých oddělení společnosti zjistit úroveň jejich motivace a stimulace, názor na pracovní prostředí a výši mzdového ohodnocení a v neposlední řadě i míru významnosti zpětné vazby na jejich pracovní výkon ze strany vedoucích pracovníků. Na základě zjištěných informací je v závěru práce uvedeno nejen vyhodnocení výsledků, ale i doporučení a konkrétní návrhy autorky, které řeší nedostatky dosavadního motivačního systému podniku.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the specification and analysis of motivational tools of the company. The goal is to determine the contribution of the tools to improvement the financial health of the company. The work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on general definitions of basic concepts, knowledge and selected theories related to motivation and stimulation. The practical part introduces and briefly describes the company Special Service International, Ltd., in which empirical investigation has been done. The aim of the survey was to determine whether workers of various company departments are appropriately and efficiently motivated and stimulated, what is their opinion on the work environment, on their salary and whether the response from the executives is important for them. Based on these information and results of the survey, recommendations and concrete proposals to address any shortcomings of the motivation system in this company, are given at the end of the thesis.
