Diplomová práce popisuje historii amatérských orchestrálních těles. Blíže se specializuje na plzeňskou amatérskou orchestrální činnost, která sahá až do 19. století. Podrobně se zabývá historií, dramaturgií a činností Plzeňského orchestrálního sdružení a Plzeňského smyčcového orchestru. In my bachelor thesis I describe the history of amateur orchestral ensembles. In more detail It specializes in amateur orchestral work, which dates back to the 19th century. It gives a detailed description of history, dramaturgy and the activities of the Pilsner String Orchestra and Pilsner Orchestral Association.
