Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám tématem smrti dítěte ve světové literatuře pro děti a mládež. Každé dítě je dříve či později konfrontováno se smrtí a způsob, jakým se o ní dozví, hraje rozhodující roli v jeho pozdějším životě. Jedním z vhodných způsobů, jak dítě s problematikou smrti seznámit, je literatura s existenciální tematikou. Proto ve své praktické části analyzuji zásadní momenty, v nichž se dětští protagonisté ocitají na hranici života a smrti. V závěrečné komparaci hledám podobnosti ale také odlišnosti v interpretaci tématu jednotlivými autory a pokouším se zjistit, kam se tematika smrti v literatuře pro děti a mládež za uplynulých čtyřicet let posunula.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I am focuses on death of a child in the children?s and youth literature. In every children?s life, there is one day, when children is confronted with the death and the way it find out is very important in his future life. One of the most appropriate ways to present death to children is literature with existential themes. That is why I am analyzing in my practical part the crucial moments, where are children?s on the edge of the life and death. In the final comparation of my thesis I am seeking similarities and differences between every single author in his interpretation of the theme and I am trying to figure out where is the death of a child in the children?s and youth literature has moved during the last fourty years.
