Draft a points system for the provision of personal protective equipment

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je ve společnosti ELK s.r.o. v Plané nad Lužnicí vytvořit návrh bodového systému za účelem optimální úspory a efektivního využívání nároků a potřeb kmenových zaměstnanců v procesu příjmu a manipulace s ochrannými pracovními prostředky. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První z nich je teoretická část, ve které jsou za pomoci odborné literatury vysvětleny pojmy, které souvisejí s bezpečností a ochranou zdraví při práci, ochrannými pracovními prostředky a zaměstnaneckými benefity. Dále jsou zde formulovány výzkumné otázky a popsána metodika práce. Aplikační neboli praktická část obsahuje základní představení podniku ELK s.r.o. a popsání současného stavu poskytování osobních ochranných pracovních prostředků. Na základě provedené analýzy spokojenosti zaměstnanců s tímto systémem pomocí dotazníkového šetření a uskutečněného polostrukturovaného rozhovoru na toto téma s bezpečnostním technikem společnosti ELK s.r.o. bude navržena nová směrnice pro vydávání, používání a údržbu osobních ochranných pracovních prostředků. Součástí této směrnice bude i návrh bodového systému pro výdej a evidenci ochranných pracovních oděvů a obuvi. V závěru aplikační části je ekonomická rozvaha efektivity nového bodového systému a zodpovězeny položené výzkumné otázky. Přidanou hodnotou této bakalářské práce je její současná aplikace v praxi.

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is to create a proposal for introducing a point system within the ELK s.r.o. company in Planá nad Lužnicí in order to achieve optimal savings and efficient use of needs and demands of employees during the process of receiving and manipulation with protective clothing and equipment. The thesis is divided into two parts. At first there is a theoretical part which uses professional literature to explain the concepts connected with health and safety regulations during the work process, protective clothing and equipment and employees’ benefits. Furthermore, there are research queries formulated in this part and the methodology of work is explained here as well. Application or a practical part contains basic introduction of the ELK s.r.o. company and a description of current conditions regards providing personal protective work clothing and equipment. Based on the analysis of employees’ satisfaction with this system, which was obtained as a result of a questionnaire survey and an interview with a safety technician working for the ELK company, there will be a new suggestion for guidelines regarding the issue, use and maintenance of personal protective clothing and equipment. A proposal for a point system concerning the issue and evidence of protective work clothing and shoes will be also included in the new guidelines. At the end of the practical part there is an economical balance of efficiency of the new point system and the research questions are asked and answered at this point as well. The added value of this thesis is its current application in practice.
