Nursing Process in Care of Patients with Leg Amputations

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na ošetřovatelský proces v péči o pacienta s amputací dolní končetiny. Onemocnění vedoucí k amputaci dolní končetiny je poměrně velká řada. Patří k nim i ischemická choroba dolních končetin, angiopatie při základním onemocnění diabetes mellitus, traumatické devastační poranění s neurologickým postižením. Smyslem amputací je operační odstranění avitální tkáně, s následným primárním hojením rány a konstrukce funkčního pahýlu, které eliminují pacientovu bolest. Cílem práce je vytvoření plánu péče o pacienta s amputací dolní končetiny na základě stanovených ošetřovatelských diagnóz NANDA - International taxonomie II, vztahující se k potřebám pacienta s amputací dolní končetiny. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje 4 kapitoly. Tyto se věnují amputaci dolní končetiny (patofyziologie amputace dolní končetiny, historie amputace, léčebné možnosti před nutností amputace dolní končetiny a druhy amputací dolní končetiny), předoperační přípravě pacienta (dlouhodobá, krátkodobá, bezprostřední), indikaci k amputacím a péči o pacienta před a po amputaci dolní končetiny. V praktické části je vypracován názorný plán ošetřovatelské péče u konkrétního pacienta s amputací dolní končetiny, který vychází ze stanovených ošetřovatelských diagnóz NANDA - International taxonomie II, vztahující se k potřebám pacienta s touto diagnózou.

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis is focused on nursing process in patients who undergone any type of lower limb amputation. There are many diseases leading to lower limb amputation, for example limb ischaemia, peripheral vascular disease, diabetic angiopathy or devastating traumas with permanent neurological disablement. The main purpose of amputations is removal of non-vital tissues, followed by primary healing of the wound and construction of stump. All these procedures lead to pacient´s pain elimination. The aim of bachelor´s thesis is to formulate care plan for patients after lower limb amputations. The care plan is based on estabilished nursing diagnosis NANDA - International taxonomy II, related to necessities of patients after lower limb amputation. The bachelor´s thesis is devided into two sections- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of 4 chapters and deal with lower limb amputation (history and pathophysiology of amputation surgery, therapeutical possibilities before undergoing amputation surgery and types of surgical methods), preoperative preparation for surgery (long-term, short-term and immediate), and preoperative and postoperative care. In practical part of thesis the demonstrative care plan in concrete patient is elaborated. Is based on estabilished nursing diagnosis NANDA - International taxonomy II, related to needs of patient with specific diagnosis.
