Tématem diplomové práce je vymezení pojmu symfonická dechová hudba a její zastoupení v repertoáru Hudby Hradní stráže a Policie ČR. V první části práce je popsán vývoj symfonické dechové hudby v rámci hnutí amerických univerzitních orchestrů od roku 1918. Druhá část popisuje situaci na našem území a líčí postupný přerod z tradice vojenských orchestrů až k symfonickému dechovému orchestru od roku 1918 …more

The topic of the thesis is the definition of the term symphonic wind music and its representation in the repertoire of the Prague Castle Guard Music and the Police of the Czech Republic.
