Project of Introducing the Adaptation Process in a Selected Organization

Abstract:

Práca je venovaná problematike riadenej adaptácie nového pracovníka na pracovisku. Práve riadená adaptácia je v Slovenských firmách často zanedbávaná. Zavedenie riadenej adaptácie pritom prináša mnoho výhod nielen pre spokojnejších a výkonnejších zamestnancov ale aj zamestnávateľa. Spokojní zamestnanci nemajú dôvod na odchod. Zníži sa fluktuácia zamestnancov a tým sa znížia náklady zamestnávateľa na vyhľadávanie a zaškolenie nových zamestnancov. Za každou úspešnou firmou stojí spokojný zamestnanec. Cieľom diplomovej práce bolo zavedenie adaptačného procesu v organizácií Life Star Emergency s.r.o. Táto organizácia je neštátne zdravotnícke zariadenie, ktoré podniká v oblasti prednemocničnej zdravotnej starostlivosti na Slovensku. Podstatou bolo analyzovať súčasný proces prijímania a adaptácie zamestnancov. Pomocou dotazníkového šetrenia bola zisťovaná spokojnosť novoprijatých zamestnancov so súčasným adaptačným procesom. Pomocou dotazníkového šetrenia a rozhovorom so zamestnancami bolo zistené že súčasný adaptačný proces vo firme je nedostatočný a zamestnanci by potrebovali dlhší čas na adaptáciou pod mentorom, ktorý by im bol k dispozícií. Na základe získaných údajov bola spracovaná nákladová, časová a riziková analýza projektu zavedenia adaptačného procesu.

Abstract:

This thesis is aimed to the topic of controlled adaptation of a new employee at a workplace. Controlled adaptation is often neglected in Slovak companies. The introduction of controlled adaptation brings many benefits not only for more satisfied and efficient employees but also for the employer. Satisfied employees have no reason to dismissal so the fluctuation of employees will be reduced and subsequently the expenses for employer to find and train new employees will be reduced as well. Behind every successful company there is a satisfied employee. The aim of this diploma thesis was to introduce the adaptation process in organization Life Star Emergency s.r.o. This organization is a non-governmental medical facility that operates in the field of pre-hospital health care in Slovakia. The purpose of this thesis was to analyze the current process of hiring new employees and adapting them. We have used a questionnaire survey to find out the level of satisfaction of newly hired employees with the current adaptation process. Using a questionnaire survey and interviewing employees we discovered that the current adaptation process in the company is not sufficient and employees would need more time to adapt under the supervision of mentor who would be available for them. Based on the results from this questionnaire we designed a project analysis from financial, time and risk point of view.
