Zoning and Strategic Planning in the Area of Třebíč Town

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Územní a strategické plánování na území města Třebíč“ je posouzení návaznosti územního a strategického plánování v Třebíči. Územní plánování je zaměřeno na rozvoj daného území a strategické plánování se zabývá socio-ekonomickým rozvojem, přičemž oba tyto nástroje jsou často využívány současně, a to za účelem pozitivního ovlivnění rozvoje prostředí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy související s územním plánováním, územním rozhodováním a strategickém plánování. V praktické části je uvedena charakteristika města Třebíče a postupy při vytváření strategických dokumentů a územního plánu. V konečné fázi je zhodnocena vzájemná spolupráce a koordinace územního a strategického plánování v Třebíči, včetně povědomí občanů o této problematice a výsledky jsou porovnány s teoretickým základem.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis „Zoning and Strategic Planning in the Area of Třebíč Town” is to assess the continuity of the process of the spatial and strategic planning in Třebíč. In general, spatial planning is focused on the development of any area given and the strategic planning deals with the socio economic aspects of this development. In order to improve the development of a particular territory in a positive way, both of these instruments are very often used simultaneously. This thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and applied. In the theoretical part, there is the basic terminology, which relates to the spatial planning, land use approving and strategic planning explained. In the applied part, there are the characteristic features of the city of Třebíč, as well as the methods of creating strategic documents and the spatial plan of this city presented. Finally, there is assessed the mutual cooperation and coordination of the spatial and strategic planning in Třebíč including the city resident´s awareness of these issues. All the conclusions of the applied part are compared with the theoretical base at the very end of the thesis.
