Lithothamniové vápence byly v době baroka hojně využívané dekorační kameny. Protože archivně nebyly doloženy údaje o jejich těžbě, bylo provedeno studium lithothamniových vápenců z různých lokalit jihomoravského kraje. Protože např. Abstract:
The lithothamnium limestones were abundantly used as decorative stones in the baroque epoch. According to archival references, they could originate from various places in the south-moravian region. Therefore we performed a study of lithothamnium limestones from various locations of south-moravian region.
