Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení hospodaření a stanovení bonity obce Český Těšín v letech 2016 až 2020, kdy s ohledem na její budoucí rozvoj jsou doporučena, na základě vyhodnocení finanční bonity, případná zlepšení v oblasti hospodaření arozvoje obce.
