Abstract:

Jak už napovídá název, obsah mé bakalářské práce se věnuje zdokumentování a porovnání postojů vybraných států na invazi do Československa, tak jak jej popisují zprávy z Archívu Ministerstva zahraničí ČR. Jugoslávie, Albánie, Rumunsko, Čína, Severní Korea a Vietnam, země, kterým jsem určila pracovní název „nepromoskevské“, se v daném období vyznačovaly socialistickým zřízením, přesto je nemůžeme vnímat jako slepé vykonavatele přání Kremlu a jejich reflexe invaze proto není tak lehce předvídatelná. První dvě kapitoly bakalářské práce postihují všeobecné aspekty studované problematiky. Nejprve stručně přibližuji události daného období na území ČSSR, druhou kapitolou se snažím osvětlit výběr státu, přesněji řečeno, jejich roztržky se Sovětským Svazem. Zbylá část textu se snaží u jednotlivých zemí odpovědět na kladené otázky. Jak tyto „roztržkové“ státy reagovaly na polednový vývoj v ČSSR, zda vítaly demokratizaci nebo oslabování vazeb na Sovětský svaz? Jak na invazi reagovaly tamní politické špičky? Využívali-li invazi jako důkaz k potvrzení správnosti svého odklonu od Kremlu, či jakým způsobem využila invazi komunistická propaganda k vlastním účelům? Nakonec mne zajímalo, jaká byla role medií a míra informovanosti u veřejnosti?

Abstract:

As the title implies already, the content of my bachelor's work is focused on the documentation and comparison of the attitudes of chosen countries towards the invasion of Czechoslovakia, concerning the reports from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Archive. Yugoslavia, Albania, Romania, China, North Korea and Vietnam, countries which I've titled as '"anti-Moscow", were during that time lead by socialist systems, although we can not perceive them as blind executors of Kremlin's wishes and as such their reflection of the invasion is not easily predictable. The first two chapters of the bachelor's work touch the general aspects of the investigated issues. At first they briefly describe the events of that period on the USSR territory, in the second chapter I tend to clarify the choice of the states, precisely, their arguments with the Soviet Union. The rest of the text is trying to respond to the asked questions. How did these "arguing" states respond to the post-January development of the USSR, whether they praised the democratisation process or weakening the links to the USSR? How did the local political leadership respond? Did they use the invasion as a proof to validate the correctness of deviation from Kreml or in which way did the communist propaganda used the invasion for their own goals? At the end I was interested in the role of the media and the level of public awarness?
