Abstract:

Tato práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření konfigurační databáze CDMB za principu základních aktivit v procesu správa konfigurací tak jak je popsán v IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Práce je rozdělena na dvě části ? teoretickou a praktickou. První část přináší obecné informace o rámci ITIL, historii a popisu jednotlivých verzí významu a přínosu ITIL pro řízení ICT infrastruktury, rozdíly mezi koncepcemi ITIL v2 a ITIL v3. Dále popisuje cíle, aktivity a koncepci správy konfigurací, objasňuje pojmy konfigurační databáze a systém pro správu konfigurace, popisuje strukturu a rozsah konfigurační databáze a taktéž vztahy konfigurační databáze s jinými procesy. Druhá část obsahuje informace o samotném vytvoření a implementaci konfigurační databáze v praxi. V úvodu této části bude představena základní charakteristika organizace, které je konfigurační databáze implementována, její stručný popis a další základní data, která jsou podkladem k praktické realizaci. Následuje samotný postup vytvoření konfigurační databáze podle aktivit procesu Správy konfigurace.

Abstract:

This dissertation is concentrated on creation of configuration database CDMB according to the principle of basic activities in the process of the administration of configurations as it is described in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The dissertation is divided into two parts ? the theoretical and the practical one. The first part brings general information about ITIL, about the history and the description of the individual versions of the importance and contribution of ITIL for direction of ICT infrastructure, differences between the conceptions ITIL v2 and ITIL v3. Then it is describing the aims, activities and the conception of the administration of configurations, it is explaining the terms of the configuration database and the system of the administration of configurations, it is also describing the structure and the extent of the configuration database and also relationships of the configuration database with other processes. The second part contains the information about the creation and implementation of the configuration database in a practical life. In the introduction of the second part the basic characteristic of the organization is introduced together with its simple description and other elementary facts which are the basis for the practical realization. Should follow the process for creating a configuration database in accordance with the process of configuration management activities.
