Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma porovnání ochranných prvků bankovek a mincí vydávaných Českou národní bankou a Evropskou centrální bankou je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části je popsán vznik peněz, jejich vývoj na území České republiky, funkce peněz a peněžní trh. Popsá-ny jsou zde také funkce centrální banky a následná historie měn české koruny a eura spolu s po-pisem vzhledu jednotlivých bankovek a mincí obou měn. V praktické části jsou jednotlivé ochranné prvky české koruny a eura nejprve popsány a následně porovnány. Zároveň je v této části popsáno padělání peněz, výskyt zadržených padělků jak na území České republiky, tak i v zemích eurozóny a postup při odhalení padělaných platidel.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis on the topic of comparing the security features of banknotes and coins is-sued by the Czech National Bank and the European Central Bank is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the origin of money, their development in the Czech Republic, the function of money and the money market. The functions of the central bank and the subse-quent history of the Czech koruna and euro currencies are also described here, together with a description of the appearance of the individual banknotes and coins of both currencies. In the practical part, the individual protective elements of the Czech crown and the euro are first de-scribed and then compared. At the same time, this section describes counterfeiting of money, the occurrence of seized counterfeits both in the Czech Republic and in the euro area countries, and the procedure of detected counterfeit currency.
