Rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm in pre-hospital and hospital care

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku aneurysmat břišní aorty a jejich ruptur v přednemocniční a nemocniční péči. Teoretická část práce nabízí základní informace o břišní aortě, aneurysmatech, diagnostice a postupech v přednemocniční a nemocniční péči. Pojednává o důležitosti a závažnosti tohoto onemocnění. Praktická část práce je založena na analýze dat pacientů s aneurysmatem břišní aorty, které byly získané z Nemocničního informačního systému Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava, žurnálních knih Ústavu soudního lékařství Ostrava a databáze Zdravotnické záchranné služby Moravskoslezského kraje. V praktické části jsou analyzována data pacientů, kteří měli v období 1.1.2010 - 31.12. 2019 diagnostikované aneurysma břišní aorty. Je kladen důraz na rozbor rizikových faktorů onemocnění i na výsledky diagnostického a léčebného procesu u těchto pacientů. Cílem práce bylo zjistit četnost ruptury aneurysmatu břišní aorty a analyzovat současný stav diagnostiky a léčby tohoto onemocnění.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of abdominal aortic aneurysms and their ruptures in prehospital and hospital care. The theoretical part of the thesis offers basic information about the abdominal aorta, aneurysms, diagnosis and procedures in prehospital and hospital care. It discusses the importance and severity of this disease. The practical part of the work is based on the analysis of data of patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm, which were obtained from the Hospital Information System of the University Hospital Ostrava, journal books of the Institute of Forensic Medicine Ostrava and the database of the Medical Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region. The practical part analyzes the data of patients who were in the period from 1.1.2010 to 31.12. 2019 diagnosed abdominal aortic aneurysm. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of risk factors for the disease as well as on the results of the diagnostic and treatment process of chosen reasearch sample of patients. Thesis aims to determine the frequency of rupture of the abdominal aortic aneurysm and to analyze the current state of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
