VIZUAL IDENTITY OF EXISTING ENTITY

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je vytvoření jednotného vizuálního stylu pro úklidovou firmu ÚKLIDY.COM. Firma sídlí v plzeňském kraji. Je to poměrně mladá firma, i tak jí ale vystihují slova jako preciznost, spolehlivost, rychlost, serióznost a diskrétnost. Hlavním cílem projektu bylo vytvořit kvalitní firemní značku a dále pak definovat všechny aplikace a tiskoviny, kterými se bude firma prezentovat na veřejnosti. Náhled všech aplikací a také vodítka, jak správně pracovat s firemní značkou nalezneme v grafickém manuálu. Základem je snaha vybudovat takový jednotný vizuální styl firmy, který bude vystihovat filozofii firmy, bude užívat poutavý a svěží design. Proces navrhování značky a tvorby grafického manuálu vyžadoval vytvoření rešerše a také studium konkrétní problematiky jednotného vizuálního stylu v odborné literatuře. Sama reprodukce složek vizuální komunikace si vyžadovala přípravu kvalitních dat a také výběrem vhodného materiálu, na něž budou jednotlivé složky vytištěny. Projektu jsem věnovala hodně času a úsilí a řekla bych, že všechny vymezené cíle byly dosaženy. Podařilo se mi vytvořit funkční, střízlivou, dobře čitelnou firemní značku, která vystihuje charakter subjektu. Dalším prvkem vizuální komunikace je grafický symbol vycházející z firemní značky, který je společně s barevným pozadím citlivě uplatněn na většině tištěných materiálů. Díky možnosti rozpracovat návrh jednotného vizuálního stylu pro firmu ÚKLIDY.COM, jsem si rozšířila znalosti v této oblasti. Pozitivem by mohl být také fakt, že o projekt jeví zájem sám majitel firmy a tak je reálná šance, že bude návrh firma skutečně užívat k prezentaci na veřejnosti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on a new Corporate Design of the cleaning company ÚKLIDY.COM. This company is located in the Pilsner Region. Although it is a relatively young company, it can be described by words such as precision, reliability, swiftness and discretion. The main goal of the project was to create a high quality Corporate Design and to define all applications and printed matter, by which the company will be presented to the public. The next part of the work was a graphic manual which includes all applications and also guides that will define how to work with the company's brand. I tried to create this kind of a Corporate Design that will reflect the philosophy of the company and that will use eye-catching and fresh design. Before creating the brand and the graphic manual it was necessary to study the theme of the Corporate Design and to search informations in the specialized literature. The reproduction of the visual communication components has required the preparation of high quality data and the selection of the suitable material on which the individual components will be printed. The project took much time and effort but I would say that I?ve archieved all the goals. I managed to create a functional, sober and clear Corporate Desing that describes the character of the subject. Another element of the visual communication is a graphic symbol based on the brand of the company, which is together with the background color sensitively applied on the most printed materials. Thanks to an opportunity to create the corporate design for the ÚKLIDY.COM company my knowledges in this area have been enlarged. A positive aspect could be also the fact that the owner of the company is interested in this project and so there is a fair chance that my proposal will be really implemented and used by the company to present itself to the public.
