Occupational therapy intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na ergoterapeutickou intervenci u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra. Skládá se z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část obsahuje celkem tři kapitoly. První kapitola se zabývá historií, etiologií, diagnostikou a klasifikací poruch autistického spektra a autistickou triádou. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na vývoj v jednotlivých obdobích života od narození až po dospívání a ve třetí kapitole jsou popsány některé intervence, které mohou být u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra využity. Cílem bakalářské práce je nastínit ergoterapeutickou intervenci u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra. Praktická část bakalářské práce zahrnuje vstupní vyšetření tří dětí s poruchou autistického spektra, provedení vstupního hodnocení s následným zvolením cíle, uskutečnění terapií a provedení výstupního hodnocení. Terapie jsou tvořeny na základě individuálních potřeb každého dítěte.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the ergo therapeutic intervention of children with autistic spectrum disorder. It contains theoretical and practical part. There are three chapters in the theoretical part. The first chapter deals with history, ethology, diagnostics and classification of autistic spectrum disorder and autistic triad. The second chapter is focused on the development of the particular stages in human being development from the birth to the adulthood and in the third chapter there are described some interventions that can be used with children with autistic spectrum disorder. The aim of this thesis is to outline the ergo therapeutic intervention with children with autistic spectrum disorder. Practical part includes three initial diagnostics appointments of three children with autistic spectrum disorder, initial evaluation, followed by chosen aim of the therapy and also the therapy itself. Therapy is tailor-made for every child included in the diagnostic process.
