An Analysis of Consumer Behaviour of the Electricity Usage

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na spotřebitelské chování v oblasti využití elektrické energie. Cílem práce je analyzovat aspekty spotřebitelské chování z pohledu marketingového a ekonomického zahrnující zjištění preferencí spotřebitelů při komunikaci s dodavatelem elektrické energie a dílčí parametry zjišťující ekonomickou stránku spotřeby elektrické energie. Práce byla vypracována na základě kvantitativního výzkumu pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Sekundární data byla získána z dostupných online informací. Teoretická část je zaměřená na obecné poznatky spotřebitelského chování a objasňuje fungování trhu s energiemi. Praktická část vyhodnocuje dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na domácnosti a vybranou firmu. V závěru praktické části je vypracována SWOT analýza, která je podkladem pro předložené návrhy na zlepšení komunikace dodavatele elektrické energie za účelem lepšího oslovení zákazníků.

Abstract:

This bachelor 's thesis is focused on consumer behaviour of the electricity usage. The aim of the thesis is to analyse aspects of consumer behaviour from the marketing and economic point of view, including finding out the preferences of consumers in communication with the distributor of the electrical energy and partial parameters finding out the economic side of electricity consumption. Secondary data were acquired from available online information. Thesis was processed on the basis of quantitative analysis via questionnaire survey. The theoretical part is focused on basic terms of consumer behaviour and clarifies functioning of the energy market. The practical part evaluates questionnaire survey focussed on households and on selected company. At the end of the practical part, a SWOT analysis is prepared, which is the basis for the submitted suggestions to improve the communication of the distributor of electric energy in order to address customers better.
