Difficulties of Future Teachers in Teaching the Czech Language in Primary Education from the Point of View of a Mentor Teacher

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jak vnímají fakultní učitelé obtíže budoucích učitelů ve výuce českého jazyka na 1. stupni ZŠ. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením terminologie a východisek o současných přístupech ve výuce českého jazyka a mentoringu budoucích učitelů. Empirická část představuje kvalitativní design a závěry výzkumu, který byl realizován prostřednictvím fokusové skupiny a interview s fakultními učiteli. Výzkumná zjištění ukazují, jaké obtíže mají budoucí učitelé v oblasti chybějících praktických dovedností, jaké obtíže mají v oblasti odborné připravenosti a jaký vliv má přístup studenta k praxi. V závěru práce jsou analyzovány výsledky výzkumu a doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis has a theoretical-empirical character. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how mentors perceive the difficulties of future teachers in teaching the Czech language in primary education. The theoretical part deals with defining terminology and starting points about current approaches in teaching the Czech language and mentoring future teachers. The empirical part presents the qualitative design and conclusions of the research, which was carried out through a focus group and interviews with mentors. The research findings show what difficulties future teachers have in the area of missing practical skills, what difficulties they have in the area of professional preparation and what influence the student's approach to practice has. At the end of the thesis, the research results and recommendations for practice are analyzed.
