Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Integrace osob s mentálním postižením z ústavní péče do běžné společnosti“ se zaměřuje na problematiku přípravy osob s mentálním postižením na samostatné zvládání života v běžné společnosti. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením mentálního postižení, dále historickým přehledem péče o postižené a to především péče ústavní, dále postupy, jež považuji za důležité v přípravě mentálně postižených jedinců pro úspěšné zvládnutí samostatného života v běžné společnosti. Praktická část prostřednictvím metod kvalitativního šetření formou rozhovorů, ohniskové skupiny, případových studií a následnou analýzou získaných dat formou kvalitativního kódování přináší konkrétní praktická doporučení v oblasti přípravy mentálně postižených osob v ústavní péči na samostatný život v běžné společnosti.

Abstract:

Thesis „Integration of mentally handicapped persons from institutional care to common society“ focuses on issues for persons with intellectual disabilities to selfmanage life in ordinary society. The theoretical part deals with the definition of mental disability and a historical overview of care for people, especially institutional care, as well as the procedures that they consider important in the preparation of mentally disabled individuals for successful independent living in normal society. Practical methods of qualitative research through interviews, focus groups, case studies and subsequent analysis of collected data through a qualitative coding gives specific practical recommendations for training of mentally handicapped people in institutional care to independent living in normal society.
