Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na motiv svatební tradice ve vybraných filmových dílech polské kinematografie. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části: první (teoretická) se věnuje nejen popisu tradiční a současné polské svatby, ale také přibližuje svatbu ze sociologického a právního hlediska. Bachelor thesis focuses on the theme of wedding traditions presented in selected films of Polish cinematography. It is divided into two parts: the first (theoretical) concentrates on the traditional and contemporary Polish wedding, as well as on the sociological and juridical context of marriage.
